She was the second of four in a loving family in Texas. She loved Star Wars and running after the older kids in the neighborhood. When she was fifteen though, her younger brother, Edward, died at the 11. Her heart kind of broke and she threw herself into school. She'd already skipped a year so she skipped another through taking so many classes. She graduated high school at 16 and went into an advanced program that let her do her undergrad and med school at the same time so she graduated medical school at 22. All work and no play for Danny, mostly. She did her residency, finishing in July 2006. She spent a year as an attending in a NYC hospital. Before, in July, she became intimately aware that "condoms are not failsafe." She's known Nathan for a long time- good friends, they met at a Star Wars convention, corresponded online, and met periodically after, Nathan coming up to NYC whenver he could. On a May visit she became pregnant. She doesn't think he wants a baby- and isn't quite willing to share even if he was. But he does deserve access and she wants to see her sister because her sister is amazing with children and. So Danny took a deep breath, packed up her shit and took a job as a partner in a gynecology practice in Tampa. She didn't tell Nathan until she was five months pregnant.
